Career Center

Welcome to the East High School Career Center!

The Career Center is designed to support the Student Services Department. Students and parents can utilize the Career Center's resources to research career options, post-secondary education, military options, scholarship opportunities, job opportunities, do career assessments and more. Resource materials include books, catalogs, videos, CDs, etc.

Computers are available for Internet research. Career Cruising, a valuable online research resource, is offered in the Green Bay high schools. It includes a wealth of information about post-secondary schools and careers, along with assessments, and job seeking information. Career Cruising features an option that allows students to create an e-portfolio.

Information about ACT, SAT, Accuplacer and ASVAB testing, college admissions, FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) are located in the Career Center.

Students planning to attend NWTC can take the Accuplacer in the Career Center by appointment. The ASVAB test is offered each year in February . Many colleges send representatives to meet with students. Interested students are encouraged to sign up to meet with the representatives.

Staff can draw on the Career Center resources when developing lesson plans and when working on career related units. Staff is welcome to send down individual students or bring in the entire class.
